1. What does InfoCision do?

InfoCision is the second largest privately held teleservices company.  We specialize in political, Christian and nonprofit fundraising, and sales and customer care.  Each year, we raise more money over the phone for nonprofits than any other teleservices company in the world.


2. What is a Work-at-Home Communicator?

A Communicator makes and takes telephone calls on behalf of InfoCision's clients.  Work-at-home Communicators specialize in volunteer recruitment, Christian fundraising, sales and customer care calls.

3. What technical requirements do I need to work from home?

You will need:

  • High-speed Internet - cable or DSL only (no satellite or dial-up)
  • Computer monitor that supports screen resolution of 1024 x 768
  • Land telephone line 
  •  Windows XP or Vista 
  •  Valid e-mail address
  • Quiet office setting with PC, desk and ergonomically correct chair (no background noise while on the phones)

4. Do I need any anti-virus protection on my PC?

Yes!  Please refer to the Microsoft website for instructions on how to secure your system.  You will need:

  • Windows update module enabled and configured to update automatically
  • Windows standard firewall enabled on systems where it exists
  • Anti-virus software installed and configured to automatically update
  • Ad-ware installed and run at least once a week

** You must submit a PC check to InfoCision to begin employment


5. Will I incur any long distance charges from my land telephone line when taking calls for InfoCision?

No.  Our system calls you so there is no charge for long distance.  However, you will not be able to accept personal calls while taking calls for InfoCision.

6. Does InfoCision provide training?

Yes, we offer four days of training in a classroom where each Communicator will learn company policies and procedures as well as information about the clients he or she will serve.  The training site is always at a location near you.


7. Is training paid?

Yes!


8. How does InfoCision provide ongoing training for new programs and clients?

Subsequent trainings are held on-line.  We use a toll-free conference line and a program called GoTo Meeting so that you can learn new campaigns in the comfort of your own home.


9. How do I get paid?

You will get paid for any time that you are logged into our system, including all time spent taking, making and waiting for calls.  You are required to log in to an outbound campaign between the hours of 8 a.m. and midnight.  Any time between midnight and 8 a.m., you can log in to "inbound only".  You will also get paid for approved trainings.

10. What is the average pay for a Work-at-Home Communicator?

It depends on how long you are logged in and taking calls.  A full-time nightshift Communicator can make a base of $8.50 an hour.  That does not include weekly performance bonuses.


11. Is there a performance bonus?

Yes!  If your results are in the top third of all the Work-at-Home Communicators, you are eligible to receive a weekly performance bonus.


12. Is there a schedule?

Yes.  You will be given a schedule at the beginning of your employment.  You can change your schedule by contacting the personnel coordinator.
